I was in San Gil a couple of years ago, a small town in northwestern Colombia. there you could practice adventure sports like rafting, rappelling, Caving, among others. the most popular rafting because several rivers converge there and most people like to feel the water on their faces. another popular sport is paragliding because near San Gil are ideal for such activities, one of the most favorites is Chicamocha Canyon, where the different air currents that originate here are ideal for this sport.
Near to San Gil is Barichara, a town with beauty architectural of the colonial era, is very special.
In the common area is also visit the typical farms, where I ride in the countryside and get to places with the most incredible beauty, small rivers with the purest water I have ever seen, the most exuberant vegetation and the greater variety of butterflies ever seen in my life. in these farms, I also eat some of the typical foods of the region, such as "The Pepitoria", a rice that is prepared with the blood of a goat barn doors, accompanied by goat meat. is something exotic to people who do not live there, but the flavor is better than many of the foods you've tried before. also try "La Melcocha", which is a dessert made of sugar cane, which manufactured amassing honey cane repeatedly, it's delicious!
I was also in the park "The Gallineral" where you can see the most varied and most beautiful exhibition of vegetation in the region. there I also saw some cultural activities such as concerts of the most harmonious music of Colombia.
You have to visit San Gil is a city with the greatest variety of activities to be implemented!

The Rock
Rock music is a genre of popular music that entered the mainstream in the 1950s. It has its roots in 1940s and 1950s rock and roll, rhythm and blues, country music and also drew on folk music, jazz and classical music. The sound of rock often revolves around the electric guitar, a back beat laid down by a rhythm section of electric bass guitar, drums, and keyboard instruments such as Hammond organ, piano, or, since the 1970s, synthesizers. Along with the guitar or keyboards, saxophone and blues-style harmonica are sometimes used as soloing instruments. When it was blended with folk music it created folk rock, with blues to create blues-rock and with jazz, to create jazz-rock fusion. In the 1970s, rock incorporated influences from soul, funk, and Latin music. Also in the 1970s, rock developed a number of subgenres, such as soft rock, glam rock, heavy metal, hard rock, progressive rock, and punk rock. Rock subgenres that emerged in the 1980s included new wave, hardcore punk and alternative rock. In the 1990s, rock subgenres included grunge, Britpop, indie rock, and nu metal.
A group of musicians specializing in rock music is called a rock band or rock group. Many rock groups consist of an electric guitarist, lead singer, bass guitarist, and a drummer, forming a quartet. Some groups omit one or more of these roles or utilize a lead singer who plays an instrument while singing, sometimes forming a trio or duo; others include additional musicians such as one or two rhythm guitarists or a keyboardist. Rock bands from some genres, particularly those related to rock's foundations in rock and roll, include a saxophone. My Favorite Music
The rock is the musical genre where you can expressing everything you want. You can sing to love, give social expressions, or whatever.
Usually I listen some bands of metal or heavy metal like Metallica, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Guns'n Roses, also grunge or post grunge bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains or Foo Fighters. I like others bands of the alternative rock also, like red Hot Chili Peppers or Oasis.

Hobbies
I have a lot of hobbies, specially the sports. I’ve play soccer since I was 2 years old, and usually I played like midfielder ; I’m a good player, however only I won the first place in the school championship on my last year on the school; the soccer was my principal hobby on the school. In this moment, I only play weekends soccer sometimes on weekends.
Rugby is a other sport that I’ve practice. Usually I play like a Wing. In this sport We Won the Liga de Bogotá Championship on 2005 with a Coyotes team.
Also I've played Basketball since I was 12 years old. This is the sport that I won more medals. I won three times the scholar championship and two times the second place, once I won the university championship, once the second place and three times the third place. Also I won two amateurs championships.
